Kept is a to-do board that lives as plain files in your own GitHub repository, with a web app at gokept.app and a simple way of working that lets your AI agent keep the board for you.
You sign in with GitHub. Your GitHub account, and the repositories Kept creates in it, are governed by GitHub's own terms.
Everything on your board belongs to you. We claim no rights over it, we never store it, and nothing about using Kept changes who owns your work.
The board is free for one part of your work, and that stays free. If Kept charges, it is for optional extras: more parts of your work, and connections like your own web address. Kept never charges for your data and never hosts it. One part of your work is free for everyone, always. Clear notice on the site before anything changes, and nothing switches from free to paid silently: adding another part is a choice you make, not something that happens to you.
Use Kept within the law, and leave GitHub's services and Kept itself unharmed. That is the whole list.
Kept is young software, provided as is. We work to keep it correct and available, but we make no warranties, and to the extent the law allows we are not liable for losses arising from your use of it. Your real safety net is the architecture: your files sit in your account, not ours, so even if Kept vanished tomorrow your board would still be exactly where it always was.
You can leave any day: uninstall the app, keep your files, owe nothing. We may suspend access that abuses the service; even then your files remain yours, in your account, untouched by us.
If these terms change in a way that matters, we will announce it on the site before it takes effect.
